The Truth of Life

Life can seem weary…

Life can seem lonely…

Life can seem incomplete…

After all… you wanted something small only…

 

You are loyal…

You are strong…

You don’t understand what is wrong…

 

So you search and you try…

And you wonder why…

You can’t get the harmless desire of your heart…

 

Have faith, you will get there…

One day you will receive

Something that will fill your heart

And bring you peace…

 

Till then, life can be unfair…

At all times… you will have to be prepared…

Never give up on having faith

That one day… it will all be okay… [Revelation 21:3-5]

You set Your treasures in jars of clay

Hoping they would never break… and always stay…

You only give and never take…

And You believe that the jars will never break…

 

You trust us and forgive us each time

Although, probably we wouldn’t have given a dime…

Give us the grace to forgive and forget…

When the jars break (in which we had our treasures set)…

 

Make the jars of clay stronger

So that they can last forever… or at least longer…

And always give us the courage to try

And never let our hope die…

Saying Goodbye

Saying goodbye can be necessary
Although it may not always seem easy…
There is so much to say and so much left undone
Yet it’s time to say goodbye… since the battle couldn’t be won…

I hope you are always happy
I hope you are always free…
Even though we couldn’t make it
You meant a lot to me…

This goodbye marks a new beginning
For both of us right now…
Time will tell the reason we had to part,
For who, why and how…

You taught me a lot and were with me
When things were bleak and I couldn’t see…
Now all I can do is pray with all my heart
That God guides us to make a new start…

You teach me to see

the good behind every trial

You teach me to go

for others an extra mile

 

You teach me to be bold

and in sorrow to be strong

You teach me to be right

and avoid what is wrong

 

You teach me to be wise

and in the storm to be calm

You teach me that for every hurt

You will be my balm

 

You teach me how to forgive

even though I’m hurting inside

You teach me that your plan

and sunshine cannot forever hide

 

You teach me how to love others

despite the sorrow and strife

You teach me that You are enough for me

and that You have a plan for my life
