You Teach me

You created the moons and stars and skies

Yet you answer my whats and wheres and why’s

 

You control the orbits and neurons and heart beats

Yet you know what our heart truly wants and needs

 

You destroy all that is sinful and prideful and fake

Yet for us You put your own Son’s life at stake

 

You teach me to see

the good behind every trial

You teach me to go

for others an extra mile

 

You teach me to be bold

and in sorrow to be strong

You teach me to be right

and avoid what is wrong

 

You teach me to be wise

and in the storm to be calm

You teach me that for every hurt

You will be my balm

 

You teach me how to forgive

even though I’m hurting inside

You teach me that your plan

and sunshine cannot forever hide

 

You teach me how to love others

despite the sorrow and strife

You teach me that You are enough for me

and that You have a plan for my life

I know I have done much wrong

Yet, with faith, I write this song

That you will forgive all my sins

And with your love, you will rinse

My heart and my very soul

Turning into diamond, what was once coal

 

You’ve made me, shaped me and saved me

In me, what did you see?

That for my sins you died

And my tears you dried

 

I bow my knees before you and pray

Please guide me everyday

Without you, there is nothing in this life

Worth the sorrow and the strife

 

Give me the courage to guide

Others, so they can reach your side

And help me believe in your plan

For life, there may be no respect

Nothing left to hope or expect

When eyes open, tears may be shed

When the heart is hurt, hope may be bled

 

When there is commotion all around

Pray in your heart, without a sound

You will begin to see

How wonderful a miracle can be

 

What was improbable and impossible

By God’s grace has now become possible

What was unthinkable and unbelievable

Has now become receivable

 

What couldn’t be conquered by logic and the mind

Has been conquered by having faith and being kind

 

For all those who have wanted to cry

Now is the time for your tears to dry

Wake up from your dreams and see

From your burdens you have been set free

 

Preach to everyone who is around

This message, beautiful and profound

The things with humans which are impossible

With God, our savior, they are possible

When your heart is hurt and your eyes are dry

When, From the depths of your soul you cry

 

When everything is lost and there is nothing left to see

When you don’t know who you are, or who you want to be…

 

Look up to the sky and pray with your heart

Let all your fears in the form of tears depart

 

If it weren’t for tears, what would life mean?

Just a living dream with pleasures foreseen….

 

With tears we can finally understand

God is at our right hand

 

Without tears there is no comfort or empathy

And we are stuck in a world of hatred and jealousy

 

Don’t fret, every tear will be wiped away

Just surrender to God and pray

Ask, and it shall be given….

When everything in life has gone astray

Before the almighty God you pray

 

Have faith and confidence in his power

On you, many blessings he will shower

 

Ask him, and he will hear

You will be released from your fear

 

Take a step towards him, follow your heart

And your dreams will never fall apart

When nothing is left……

When you feel weary, dismayed and weak

God will strengthen you to find what you seek. [Isiah 41:10]

 

When of the shore you have no sight

God will turn your darkness into light [Samuel 22:29]

 

When you suffer from a broken heart

God will heal you and help you restart. [Psalm 147:3]

 

When you can’t conform and have no skill

Renew your mind, transform and seek God’s will. [Romans 12:2]

 

When you are lost and you can’t find a way

Know that God will leave the others for you any day. [Luke 15:4-7]

 

When all your dreams have fallen apart

Remember, God had a plan for you, right from the start. [Jeremiah 29:11-13]

 

When faith is all that there is left

God will move the mountain heft. [Mathew 17:20]

 

When your life is nothing but weaknesses scattered

God’s power will mend your life (shattered). [Corinthians 12:9]

 

When there is nothing left for you to do

Trust God, he will fight your battle for you. [Chronicles 20:17]
